The Russian hotel and entertainment complex Altai Palace will host the Altai Palace Poker Series poker championship from May 31 to June 9, 2019.Over the course of 10 days, several poker tournaments will be held with significant cash prizes. There will also be an entertainment program for all APPS participants and guests of Altai Palace. This time poker will be combined with esports, and players will be able to show their skills in popular computer games right on the main screen of the Joker hall. The APPS organizers plan to increase the scale of the event by attracting new players, increasing the prize fund of tournaments, as well as diversifying the guests’ leisure time. During the Altai Palace Poker Series tournament, poker players will be offered special prices for accommodation, access to the spa complex and discounts on restaurant service. Also this year additional leisure activities will be organized. For example, chess tournaments, karaoke, the mafia game, billiards, football, as well as joint trips and sightseeing in Altai. The poker club at Altai Palace started its work on December 26, 2016. Since the opening day, many tournaments have been held within the walls of the club, including the largest ones – within the Altai Poker Series. The total prize fund amounted to more than a billion rubles. The hotel and entertainment complex Altai Palace opened on November 1, 2014 in the Russian gambling zone Siberian Coin. Altai Palace consists of a hotel with 46 rooms, an extensive casino area with 18 tables and 163 slot machines (including two electronic roulette tables), a Joker club, a restaurant with 80 seats, a spa, a bathhouse, a karaoke, a billiards club, a sports ground. In the summer, there is an outdoor swimming pool, and the concert venue in front of the casino hosts the Altai Palace Fest music festival. Currently, Altai Palace is the only legal casino in all of Siberia.
