Apple accused of facilitating illegal gambling and demand millions of dollars from the company

Gambling News and Lucky Stories

Apple has been sued in a US district court to ban gambling from the App Store and pay $5 million in damages. The lawsuit was initiated due to the fact that the online store from the American developer of games for the Internet received free applications. Their users do not receive real money from using these applications, but increase the time they are in them and make in-app purchases, such as purchasing chips for gambling. Laws in dozens of states have been violated, while Apple, the sole administrator of the App Store, is facilitating illegal gambling, operating as an unlicensed casino and profiting from a game developer’s listing on its online app store, the plaintiffs allege. Recall that after criticism by the Chinese media, Apple removed illegal online casino applications from the App Store.
