The licensed gambling operator Alfabet, owned by the British betting company William Hill, has started working in the Latin American gambling market. Alfabet, licensed for online gaming by the Colombian authorities, has launched a sports betting site WilliamHill(dot)co. Alfabet has the right to provide Colombian gamblers with online betting and casino services. Colombia is the first country in Latin America where William Hill operates. This bookmaker generally operates in nine countries with regulated gambling markets. As My Lucky Story reported, the American corporation Caesars Entertainmet, which bought the bookmaker William Hill in April 2021, will sell all the assets of the bookmaker that are located outside the United States. Potential buyers have already become known. Earlier it became known that the Colombian license for sports betting and online casinos was also received by Betfair.
