Canadian poker player Elisabetta Bertucci has filed a lawsuit against the OK Poker poker room after discovering a bug when playing via iPad. The claim was approved by the court and accepted for consideration. This could result in a multi-million dollar cost for the famous Canadian poker room. Bertucci, who has been playing at OK Poker since 2010, has filed a class action lawsuit seeking to recover all of her losses since playing at the poker room ($17,945) and to recover all losses for each player during the period the bug was present (about 10 months) , plus an additional $300 for each affected user. Thus, thousands of OK Poker players can now demand from the poker room all the money lost in 10 months. Earlier, a US district court filed a lawsuit against Apple demanding a ban on placing gambling games in the App Store.
