The management of the largest distributor of gaming electronic equipment for casinos, Asia Pioneer Entertainment Holdings Ltd, announced the opening of a new line of business. The holding develops the Asian market of “smart vending”. According to Chairman Allen Hue Tat Yan, after analyzing the results of the holding’s activities for 2020 and conducting a large-scale market research, the company will turn to the smart vending market as the most promising direction in the new conditions of post-pandemic decline in activity. Also, a representative of the holding said that the company received an order for 15 such machines to be placed in areas of Macau with high traffic. Earlier, the gambling regulator in Macau announced the growth of the gambling business after the coronavirus recession. He also reported that the Macau authorities canceled the mandatory presentation of coronavirus tests to casino customers and returned “standing bets”, popular among Asian players, to gambling establishments.
