Casino Sochi hosts the World Poker Tour for the first time

From Friday, January 18 to Sunday, January 27, the famous WPT series will be held on the territory of Casino Sochi for the first time. The tournament, organized by WPT and partypoker LIVE, will bring together many famous poker fans in the popular gambling establishment, including Russian players. The total guaranteed prize fund will be 184 million rubles.

Organizers have announced that this poker festival will feature four main events: WPT Opener, WPT Russia Main Event, WPT DeepStacks and High Roller.partypoker will also be hosting satellites in a special PP LIVE Dollars format, as well as giving away over 300 WPT tickets. To take part in this world series, the player will need to collect the amount of PP LIVE Dollars, and then register in any tournament. In addition, many Russian players have confirmed that they will definitely visit the poker festival, which will be held in Russia for the first time. Anatoly Filatov, Mikhail Semin, Nikolay Fal, Vadim Lipovka, Vadim Shlez, and Andrey Chernokoz will take part in the World Poker Tour. Tournament organizers reminded that players must also present a valid photo ID in order to participate in the World Poker Tour. As a reminder, the 2019 MILLIONS Live poker series will have its own Main Event challenge prize, according to partypoker Live President John Duffy.
