Gambling News and Lucky Stories

The first resort complex with a casino in Chicago will open in 2025. In 2021, the city authorities, during the competitive procedures, will determine the company that will build the facility at the site chosen by it and manage it under a single license. Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot emphasized that it will be a modern, environmentally friendly, architecturally significant world-class complex. Therefore, potential operators should understand the full responsibility that will fall on them and the unique business opportunity that they will receive in the metropolis, Lightfoot noted. The license, which the future winner of the competition will receive, will allow the company not only to create a complex, but also to place 4,000 slot machines in the casino and at two airports in the city. The complex must, according to the conditions of the Chicago authorities, have a gambling house, a hotel, conference rooms, restaurants, bars, entertainment venues, and so on, and residents of the city must receive highly paid jobs there, undergo internships and training. Local enterprises should be involved in the operation of the facility. The operator of the complex with high-class customer service will be required to pay 40% of the income received from gambling in the casino. Gambling industry experts believe that the following companies can apply for work in Chicago: MGM Resorts International, Wynn Resorts, Seminole Tribe’s Hard Rock International, Boyd Gaming, Las Vegas Sands, Bally, Genting Group, Mohegan Gaming and Entertainment, Tilman Fertitta’s Landry’s, Rush Street Gaming. As My Lucky Story wrote, the deputy chairman of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Kyrgyzstan condemned the deputies who adopted the draft law on the gambling zone in the Issyk-Kul region in the first reading. As reported, the gambling corporation Caesars Entertainment will invest $400 million in three of its casino resorts in the gambling zone of Atlantic City.
