The coronavirus pandemic is raging in the world, which has affected all areas of business, including gambling. Gambling establishments are closed. Events and conferences are canceled or rescheduled. We monitor the situation with the gambling business, we will publish information about the suspension of casinos in different countries, as well as up-to-date information about the cancellation and postponement of gambling events. As of March 19, 2020, the activity of gambling establishments has been suspended in the following countries: – Estonia – the activity is officially suspended until May 1, 2020 – Georgia – it is recommended to temporarily close the work of gambling establishments from March 19, 2020 – Lithuania – all land-based playgrounds are closed until 30-03 -2020 due to COVID-19 pandemic – Italy indefinitely – Spain indefinitely – Poland for 2 weeks according to unofficial data – to Czech Republic for 30 days according to unofficial data – Cyprus – closed indefinitely according to unofficial data – Armenia – introduced state of emergency, a commission has been created, but there is no data on the closure. – Latvia – since April 8, all licenses for gambling, including online ones, have been suspended. The Russian government, as well as the regulators of Belarus and Kazakhstan, did not respond to requests, the establishments are working as usual.
