Curator of gambling in Kazakhstan detained by security forces

Deputy head of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of Kazakhstan Saken Musaibekov was detained at the airport. A high-ranking official who was the curator of gambling in Kazakhstan was charged with corruption in the activities of the Betting Center. This was reported by Telegram channels. Information appeared in the public field that Musaibekov received a bribe – a bag worth about $ 7,000 – from the Center’s operator company. The CUS, whose work was supposed to start in January 2021, will receive control over the activities of all official Kazakh bookmakers. The Mobile Card organization, which oversees a similar Center in Russia, previously reported that in general, the income of bookmakers in the Russian-speaking part of the Internet can reach a billion dollars a year.
