A new Walker’s Bluff casino resort in Carterville, southern Illinois, will begin construction soon. This was announced by the investor – Elite Casino Resorts. The construction of the facility, which will include a hotel, a gambling house, a betting shop, an event center and restaurants, is estimated at $150 million. The Illinois state gambling regulator has already made a decision on preliminary approval of the resort complex project. The casino resort will be a driver of the economy in southern Illinois, new jobs will be created, and many local companies will be attracted to cooperate with the institution, representatives of Elite Casino Resorts noted. As My Lucky Story reported, Japan has completed accepting applications from companies that are ready to build a resort complex in Yokohama. Earlier it became known that in the US, 815 Beltway Holdings LLC received permission to build a gambling house in Rockford (Illinois). Recall that the launch of a casino in Crescent City (California) is planned for the spring of 2022.
