Wynn Resorts has announced that the Encore Las Vegas Casino will resume daily operations on April 8, 2021. The decision was made due to the fact that the authorities of Nevada allowed to increase the number of casino customers up to 50% of the capacity. The Encore Hotel and Casino will remain open to customers throughout the week, while other facilities, including restaurants and the spa, will continue to operate as previously set. In October 2020, the operator switched to a reduced mode of operation from Thursday to Monday, citing a decrease in consumer demand. Wynn Resorts was one of several operators in Las Vegas to cut business hours last fall due to a surge in Covid-19 cases. As previously reported, the Governor of New Jersey signed an executive order easing quarantine measures to increase the number of casino customers in Atlantic City.
