The British holding Entain, the owner of the brands Ladbrokes, Bwin and Sportingbet, is stubbornly trying to enter the markets of Scandinavia and the Baltics. On March 1, the holding’s management made what they say was their last offer of 363.9 million euros to the Swedish gambling brand Enlabs Ab and announced a decision deadline of March 18. The desire of the British is quite obvious, Enlabs Ab is one of the leaders in the Baltic and Scandinavian markets. According to experts, the company’s income in 2022 will be 90 million euros. The first offer from Entain – 285 million euros – was received by the Swedish operator back in January. In response, Enlabs Ab shareholders proposed to increase the amount to 394 million. It looks like the parties will agree on a deal for 363.9 million, as, according to sources, Entain’s latest offer is ready to accept 51% of Enlabs shareholders. Earlier, Enlabs representatives announced that they would enter the markets of Ukraine and Belarus in 2021.
