The size of the gambling market in Canada, whose parliament has just passed a bill to legalize singles betting, may reach 4.6 billion US dollars by 2030. This forecast was given by analysts of the investment company Macquarie Group. They specified that 2.2 billion would come from land-based bets and 2.4 billion from online casinos. Moreover, the analysts added, this is a conservative forecast, assuming that each adult resident of Canada will spend $135 annually on these gambling entertainments. Gambling operators have high expectations. For example, DraftKings believes that the size of the Canadian gambling market could reach $8 billion, while BetMGM estimates it at $7 billion. As My Lucky Story reported, experts have predicted a rise in betting company profits to $750 billion by 2025. Earlier it became known that analysts expect esports companies to receive $1.1 billion in revenue in 2021. We also recall that experts believe that the profit of online gambling operators in the Netherlands may exceed one billion euros by 2025.
