A five-star hotel located in Kharkiv without a casino yet. The FKM-4 company had previously submitted an application for placing a gambling establishment in the Kharkiv Palace Hotel, but CRAIL – the Commission for the Regulation of Gambling and Lotteries of Ukraine refused. CRAIL published on its website a decision indicating the reason for the refusal, referring to the fact that a copy of the technical passport does not make it possible to determine the “necessary” premises for the casino. In simple words – the room does not meet the standards. DCH group of Alexander Yaroslavsky announced the opening of a casino in the hotel back in July last 2020, immediately after the adoption of the necessary legislative acts for this. Kharkiv Palace Hotel plans to re-apply for consideration by the commission. Recall that experts, assessing the potential of the casino market in Ukraine, at the end of February 2021, called the amount of seven billion hryvnia. They also noted the good prospects for the industry due to the legalization of gambling in 2020.
