A scandal involving a Premier League club has erupted in the Russian football family. Two athletes, Dmitry German and Alexander Yerkin, are suspected of rigging the results of matches with the Kuban teams Krasnodar and Sochi because of their participation in betting on the outcome of the games of their club, Tambov. According to the information that got into the public field, the Russian Football Union called Yerkin and Herman to give explanations. This was confirmed at the Tambov football club, and also urged to wait for the end of the investigation of the situation. In the standings of the Russian Premier League, Tambov, after 23 matches, takes the last, 16th place. The team has only 13 points with three wins, four draws and 16 losses. At the same time, FC scored 14 goals and conceded 43. As My Lucky Story reported, the suspicion of holding match-fixing was voiced against FC Essentuki from the Professional Football League.
