It became known that three participants in the fixed match – football players from the club “Noah Jurmala” had already been fined one thousand euros each and received a disqualification for violations.

The goalkeeper of the team Bojan Knezevic from Serbia will not play for one year, the central defender of the club Ofos Appia has been suspended for one match, as well as Aleksey Babyr – forward from Ukraine. All the aforementioned LFFs were found guilty by the Latvian Football Federation of foul play against the Liepaja team. The match took place on May 29 of the current 2021 and ended with a score of 0:5. The Federation, at the moment, admits the possible exclusion of the football club “Noah Jurmala” from the Higher League. On the eve it became known that in Russia the first criminal case was opened on a contractual football match – the clubs “Chaika” and “Chernomorets” became defendants. Earlier, My Lucky Story informed its readers that at the beginning of May 2021, the proposal for liability for match-fixing was approved by the government of the Russian Federation.
