In Belgium, on June 7, 2021, new rules for the operation of casinos, bookmakers and gambling halls were introduced. The requirements of the authorities for gambling establishments are justified by ensuring sanitary safety due to the spread of the coronavirus. In particular, gambling establishments in Belgium are allowed to work from 05:00 to 23:30. On the premises, staff and customers must wear protective masks. It is possible to visit establishments in groups of up to four people. In addition, each establishment must provide: a distance between people located there – 1.5 meters, disinfection of hands, all used equipment and premises. As My Lucky Story reported, Massachusetts announced the lifting of restrictions on gambling establishments that were introduced by the authorities earlier due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Earlier it became known that the Nevada authorities allowed casino operators to determine the need to wear protective masks inside gambling houses. Recall that the authorities of Kentucky are giving away free lottery tickets to involve residents of the state in vaccination against coronavirus infection.
