Internet platforms for betting on lotteries, sports events and online games will be opened by the state gambling regulator of Costa Rica. Six operators will work with them, which will be determined at the competition by the authorities of this country for public-private partnership. Companies selected by officials in April will have to pay the state a fee for the right to accept rates and 70% of their income. The launch of the platforms is a one-year gambling experiment. Earlier it became known that the bookmaker from this Central American country decided to accept cryptocurrency from bettors. As reported, the authorities of Puerto Rico have begun issuing permits for slot machines.
