Gambling operator Penn National Gaming has bought the Hollywood Casino Perryville, located in Perryville, Maryland. The sale and purchase agreement concluded with the seller of the property, Gaming and Leisure Properties, has already been approved by the state gambling regulator of Maryland. The acquisition of Hollywood Casino Perryville will cost Penn National Gaming US$31 million. Thanks to this deal, Maryland became the 20th state in which Penn National Gaming operates, analysts of the US gambling industry noted.
