Head of the Association of Bookmakers: European Football Championship is the main event in the betting calendar

The decision of UEFA to hold seven matches of the European Football Championship 2020 in St. Petersburg was a joyful event for Russian betting operators, said the head of the Association of bookmakers Darina Denisova. She recalled that the refusal of the authorities to hold the tournament in 2020 – due to the COVID-19 pandemic – brought disappointment to betting operators, who suffered serious financial losses.
