The Commission for the Regulation of Gambling and Lotteries of Ukraine refused to issue a license to open a land-based casino to Campus Plus. The corresponding document is posted on the official website of the regulator. As explained in the document, the reason for the refusal was the desire of the owner to equip a gambling establishment outside the hotel premises. Although the applicant indicated that the Premier Hotel Palazzo has a four-star rating. Earlier, the Minister of Culture of Ukraine said that 75 Ukrainian hotels had already applied for an increase in the comfort rating, with the further goal of opening gambling establishments on their territory. As previously reported, the Kharkiv Palace Hotel in Kharkiv also did not receive permission to open a casino.
