The Royal Time Group intends to seek compensation in the amount of 5.9 billion rubles from the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation, as well as from the Department of Property Relations, through the courts.

Representatives of the company said that they would demand from the authorities of the Krasnodar Territory, not only to compensate for the damage, but also to buy out the objects that were built on the territory of the closed gambling and entertainment zone. On December 19, the State Duma nevertheless approved a law on compensation for damage to all owners of existing gambling zones. But the authorities also specified that this law would not apply to Azov City. The government of the Russian Federation started talking about the closure of Azov-City a few years ago. The reason was that it was decided to create another entertainment zone in this region. And according to the law, only one gambling and entertainment zone can operate in one territory. The document on the closure of Azov City was signed in October this year. The last day of operation of the facility is December 31st. Recall that one of the operating enterprises in the territory of the closing gambling zone “Azov-City” announced the dismissal of employees. “Royal Time” handed over a statement that it was laying off 424 employees, 349 of them are residents of the Kuban.
