Iowa Lottery Winner Receives $1 Gift Check

Gambling News and Lucky Stories

Tyler Heep from the American city of Urbandale in Iowa turned to the organizers of the IALottery lottery with a request to provide him with a gift check for his winnings in the amount of one dollar. Representatives of the company did not refuse the client and issued him a presentation certificate, which is usually awarded to the winners of major drawings.

I just showed up at the office with the winning ticket and said I needed one of those big presentation checks as payment. It’s amazing no one has done this before. The organizers of the lottery wrote Tyler Heap a check on a large form and offered to take a picture with him in front of the IALottery logo, as they do in the case of awarding customers who win large cash prizes.
Talking to reporters, Heep joked that he could buy half a gallon of gasoline (about 2 liters) with his winnings. However, the winner did not use the money received, and posted the check on the wall in his room.
