Kenyan authorities approve new gambling advertising rules

Information has appeared that the Kenyan authorities have approved new rules for gambling advertising. The document, presented by the organization BCLB – Kenya Betting Control and Licensing Board, clearly spells out the rules and regulations for posting relevant content.

Only legal gambling operators with permits from BCLB can advertise their services and products, the content must be approved by the regulator, advertising materials must be broadcast or published with the appropriate permissions. Also – one fifth of any promotional material should be devoted to warnings and restrictions – about liability and acceptable age standards. Plus, from sixteen to twenty-one hours, the demonstration of advertising of gambling and entertainment is prohibited in the country. Recall that at the beginning of June of the current 2021 in the capital of Kenya – Nairobi legalized gambling and established taxes for gambling operators. My Lucky Story also reported that the day before, the Kenyan authorities reduced and approved the size of the tax fee on the turnover of bets. The corresponding document was signed by the head of the republic.
