Kindred Group plans to block all accounts of clients with addiction by 2023

Gambling News and Lucky Stories

The leading online gambling operator Kindred Group announced that by 2023 it will block the accounts of customers suffering from gambling addiction. On its website, the company published the material “Our Road to Zero”, which tells about the strategy and methods of working with addicted players. To analyze the behavior and identify problem players, Kindred Group uses the Player Safety-Early Detection System (PS-EDS) – the algorithm takes into account dozens of qualitative and quantitative indicators, such as: excessive enthusiasm, withdrawal, loss of control, deposit history, balance and total playing time . Based on the results of the assessment, users are divided into four groups according to the degree of addiction – high, medium, low, or no problems. The group with a high level includes clients in whom the algorithm has detected six or more signs of gambling addiction. They are especially closely watched by the security team, and support staff explain how and where they can get professional help. Accounts of clients who confess to gambling addiction receive a lifetime ban. The middle zone includes players in whose behavior the algorithm found 4-5 “alarm bells”. Such players are informed by the support service about self-exclusion tools, they are advised to take a break and seek help. For reference. Kindred Group owns nine brands, including Unibet, Maria Casino and 32Red. The company offers products such as online casino, online poker, online bingo and sports betting. Recall, Irish scientists said that the main problem of gambling addiction is constantly heated interest and a false promise of winnings from gambling operators.
