As part of the fight against illegal gambling in the Russian Federation, the authorities are adopting a new law on extrajudicial blocking of online casinos banned in the country. The document was also adopted at the second reading by the deputies of the State Duma.According to the adopted bill, the Federal Tax Service, the Federal Tax Service of Russia, has the right to initiate and block out of court online operators involved in shadow gambling transactions. It should be noted that the amendments made to the document allow the tax service, among other things, to maintain its own register of foreign citizens violating the ban on transferring funds to shadow gambling. Earlier, My Lucky Story reported that the State Duma of the Russian Federation adopted a bill on changes in the term of targeted deductions from gambling and the start of the work of the ERAI – the Unified Gambling Regulator was postponed. Meanwhile, in Ukraine, the bill on taxes for gambling was not adopted by the authorities of the country – the document was returned for the necessary revision.
