The number of self-excluded online gamblers in the UK has surpassed 200,000. This is evidenced by the data of a special Gamstop service operating in Foggy Albion. All online gambling operators legally operating in the country must be registered in this system. In January and February 2021, 13.5 thousand people entered their data into the Gamstop registry. Most of all among self-excluded in the UK men – 71%, women, respectively – 29%. The majority of those who self-excluded (men and women) are between 18 and 34 years of age. As My Lucky Story wrote, 28.4 thousand people in Finland declared voluntary self-exclusion. As previously reported, the number of self-excluded in Belarus has exceeded 60 thousand players. Recall that in Russia the authorities have prepared a draft federal law, which, if adopted, will allow residents of the country to self-exclude from gambling.
