New gambling house to open in Nebraska in 2022

The hippodrome and casino in Columbus (Nebraska) will be built by the gambling operator Caesars Entertainment and Columbus Exposition and Racing. The $75 million facility, according to investors’ plans, will open at the end of 2022. The 3,720-square-meter gambling house Harrah’s will feature 400 slot machines, two dozen table games, a restaurant and bars. The facility will not only become a new entertainment destination for residents and visitors to the US Midwest, but will also stimulate the economy and create new jobs in the Columbus area. My Lucky Story reported that the renovated Sandia Casino in New Mexico opened on July 2, 2021. As reported, the launch of the South Korean gambling house Midan City was postponed to 2025. Recall that gambling operator Penn National Gaming has completed the acquisition of the Hollywood casino in Maryland.
