New rules for vaccinating employees of the gambling industry have been introduced in the Republic of Kazakhstan

Last week, Kazakh authorities announced tightening of COVID-19 vaccination rules for employees of entertainment facilities, lottery ticket outlets and specialized gambling areas, respectively. On July 2, 2021, the government’s decision entered into legal force. Note that from this moment on, those members of the staff who were not previously vaccinated, but had previously been ill or have medical contraindications for vaccination. These citizens of Kazakhstan fall into the list of exceptions to the rules, but will have to regularly undergo the necessary tests. The measures taken by the leadership of the republic are aimed at protecting the population and combating the spread of coronavirus infection. Earlier it was reported that the income of the gambling industry in Kazakhstan in the past 2020 increased six times, compared to the same period in 2019. We also recall that in April this year, Kazakhstan exempts part of the gambling business and the IT industry from taxes as part of supporting small and medium-sized businesses.
