New Year’s Eve tournament at partypoker will have a prize pool of $10 million

The partypoker poker room has revealed the details of the New Year’s online tournament. The Christmas Freeze prize pool will be $10 million. As the name of the event implies, the events will be held in a freezeout format that does not involve the use of reentry.

The Christmas Freeze online poker tournament will run from December 23, 2018 to January 6, 2019. The festival will host 201 events, including Mix-Max, 6-Max, 8-Max and PLO, with buy-ins of various levels from $3.3 for amateurs to $1050 for high rollers. The guaranteed prize pool of the three biggest events of the tournament (Christmas Freeze #02, #24, #46) will be $300,000 for each. Earlier, other major poker rooms announced New Year’s tournaments with large prize pools. The PokerDom website will host a multi-game Winter Cup, in which poker players will play for 26 million rubles in 96 events in 12 popular disciplines. The same poker room is scheduled to host a New Year’s event with a prize fund of 201,900 rubles and a Christmas charity tournament with GTD in the amount of half a million rubles. And in the second Winter Series at PokerStars from December 23, 2018 to January 7, 2019, $40 million will be played in 240 events.
