New York State Governor Andrew Cuomo signed into law an earlier law passed by the legislature of the region to legalize mobile betting. According to gambling industry experts, the first sports bets in New York State will be made at the end of 2021, after the law comes into force and the necessary procedural tasks are resolved. Recall that New York state legislators have also set the amount of taxes and fees for gambling operators who want to engage in mobile betting. In particular, for a license to receive such bets, you need to pay $ 12 million, the tax on mobile sports betting is 12% of gross income, the mandatory payment to the state is 0.2% of the total amount of bets.
