One license for three gambling giants from Nevada and Rhode Island

It became known that some government officials in the US state of New York are initiating the issuance of three gambling licenses reserved, so to speak, for the south of the state for 2023 already now. It is believed that two of the three permits were received by objects that currently already have a license to launch and open slot machine halls – these are the operating “Empire City” casinos from MGM Resorts and the Aqueduct casino from Resorts World Casino, which has in its arsenal about five thousand slot machines and video slots. Thus, applicants from other states will have to compete for one remaining license. It is claimed by three giants of the gambling business – “Bally’s Corporation” from Rhode Island, “Wynn Resorts” and “Las Vegas Sands” from Nevada. The companies hope that the proposal will be published as early as April this year. It should be noted that plans for New York and business expansion of Las Vegas Sands, one of the largest players in the gambling entertainment market, are getting stronger. And this, despite the fact that back in early March the company sold its assets and real estate for $6.25 billion, continuing to reinvest in Asian countries.
