Online gambling operators in the Netherlands warned against annoying advertising

Gambling News and Lucky Stories

The Dutch state gambling regulator has warned companies that will start providing online gambling services in the country in the fall of 2021. Operators must be moderate in advertising their products – otherwise they face serious sanctions, Dutch officials said. If gambling companies, which are also responsible for the situation in the gambling market, do not want severe restrictions on their activities, they should refrain from advertising “bombing” the people of Holland, the state regulator emphasized. The agency urged operators not to lose their banks and advertise their services in accordance with the law and responsibly. The Dutch state regulator earlier, as My Lucky Story reported, warned offshore operators, as well as their partners, about intolerance to illegal gambling – they will be fined 50 thousand euros. Recall that 28 companies submitted their applications for obtaining a Dutch online gambling license. The online gambling market in Holland will officially open on October 1, 2021.
