Paradise Entertainment Ltd, a well-known developer of electronic equipment and software for gambling, issued a press release in which it reports that the company’s name, corporate logo and other materials, including the image and name of CEO Jay Cheung, are being used by online scammers. The report says that the scammers spread information on social networks and on a number of websites about an online lottery organized by Paradise Entertainment. The company warns that it does not conduct any online lotteries or any other online games with bets and has not transferred to third parties the right to act on its behalf. The firm urges users to be careful in these matters, not to disclose their personal or bank details to fraudsters. However, Paradise Entertainment stated that it is not responsible for the activities of fraudulent websites, fraudulent accounts of social media platforms, or persons impersonating staff, company representatives, or Mr. Jay Chung. As previously reported, a court in Macau dismissed Entertainment (Asia) Ltd’s lawsuit against gambling equipment supplier Paradise Entertainment Ltd.
