The Idaho State Lottery has allowed the Powerball lottery to continue operating in the state. This came as Powerball’s management said it had delayed expanding the game outside of the US until 2022. Earlier, as My Lucky Story wrote, they wanted to introduce Powerball gambling services in Australia and the UK as soon as possible. However, Idaho’s gambling laws restrict the lottery – the only legal gambling in the region – to the US and Canada. Therefore, the Idaho State Lottery in March 2021 put a block on Powerball activity in this state. In addition, the Idaho authorities, who have a say in Powerball’s leadership, will also be involved in deciding whether Powerball may be further distributed outside of the States. Idaho State Lottery Director Jeff Anderson is confident that state laws need to be changed, and in this case, the Powerball lottery will be able to go international. My Lucky Story reported that the Irish bookmakers that illegally offer the services of the national lottery and the Euromillions lottery, the authorities want to put in place. Earlier it became known about the initiative that appeared within the walls of the Parliament of Kyrgyzstan to change the national legislation on the lottery.
