Russian authorities announced the adoption of the law on advertising sweepstakes

The Ministry of Agriculture of Russia will prepare a draft federal law, which in the Russian Federation is allowed to advertise sweepstakes in the sports media. The document should be ready, as planned by the department, by March this year, and adopted by the Federal Assembly in September 2021. The adoption of the bill in the future will affect the development of equestrian sports and hippodromes in the country – this will be financed from an extrabudgetary source, officials say. The betting industry experts recalled that now the Russian media are allowed to advertise sports betting in bookmakers. Recall that in Russia the law on a single regulator of gambling has come into force – it should be a public company, the founder of which will be the state. Earlier it became known whether Ukraine is ready for the legalization of gambling. The legalization process began in early 2020.
