Former British Horse Racing Authority chief executive Nick Rast has been appointed chairman of the Starting Price Commission. This organization is responsible, among other things, for the transparency and accuracy of betting on horse racing in the UK. Nick Rast will replace Lord Bernard Donoghue in his new post, who headed the commission for 16 years. As My Lucky Story reported, Neil MacArthur has left the UK Gambling Commission, where he was chief executive. Earlier it became known that Lena Vainiomyaki, who previously worked in the banking sector, was appointed deputy chairman of the board of the national operator of bets and lotteries in Finland. Recall that David Levy became the head of the board of Genius Sports Group – an international company that does business in sports, betting and media.
