The Louisiana Senate will begin debating the regulation of gambling in the state in April of this year. Legislators need to decide on their position on online sports betting, where it can be done and what taxes betting operators should be subject to. According to Senate estimates, online bidding could add up to $20 million annually to Louisiana’s budget. As My Lucky Story wrote, sports betting may be legal before this fall in Wyoming. It was previously reported that in the spring of 2021, a draft law on betting will be written in Ohio, the appearance of which in the state is supported by professional clubs. Recall that North Dakota senators refused to support the process of legalizing gambling in the state, and Alabama legislators also oppose gambling.
