Underground casinos in Sevastopol were revealed by law enforcement officers. Two illegal online gambling clubs were located in the Nakhimov municipal district. These establishments used Internet-connected equipment and employed nine people. The size of the illegal benefits of the clubs, according to the Investigative Committee of Russia, exceeded 8.5 million rubles. During the searches, the security forces seized money, cash terminals, video equipment, and computer equipment. Criminal cases have been initiated on the illegal organization and conduct of gambling, including the extraction of income on an especially large scale. Investigators have appointed technical expertise and identify all those involved in this criminal activity. Earlier it became known that law enforcement officers revealed the largest number of illegal gambling clubs in St. Petersburg and Moscow.
