Two more Ukrainian hotels received permission to open slot machine halls, the Ukrainian gambling regulator said. According to data posted on the official portal of the Commission for the Regulation of Gambling and Lotteries, the Kharkiv hotelier who owns the Kiroff Hotel can install slot machines on an area of ​​305.4 square meters. It is also allowed to open a gambling establishment with slot machines and a bookmaker’s office on the ground floor of the Voskresensky Hotel in Sumy. The total area of ​​premises for gambling will be 490.2 sq. m. Previously, CRAIL issued a license to open slot machine halls to the IBIS hotel, located near the railway station in Kyiv. As previously reported, the head of the Ukrainian Gambling Association expressed confidence that the country’s parliament would approve amendments to reduce taxes on gambling. The total revenues of the Ukrainian budget from previously issued licenses for the organization and placement of gambling facilities exceeded UAH 200 million.
