The Spaniard entered the event for free as a Platinum Pass holder for winning the Campeonato de Espana de Poker series in December 2018. In total, last year PokerStars gave away 320 $30,000 packages to the PSPC. The buy-in amounted to $25,000, and the total prize fund of the event almost reached $26.5 million.
