Spaniard Ramon Calillas became the winner of PSPC 2019

The Spanish poker player became the first champion of the PokerStars Players NL Hold’em Championship (PSPC), which took place from January 6 to 10, 2019 in the Bahamas. The 30-year-old winner’s prize was $5.1 million.

Ramon Calillas was the best among 1039 players who took part in the tournament. The Spaniard entered the event for free as a Platinum Pass holder for winning the Campeonato de Espana de Poker series in December 2018. In total, last year PokerStars gave away 320 $30,000 packages to the PSPC. The buy-in amounted to $25,000, and the total prize fund of the event almost reached $26.5 million. In total, 181 players ended up in the money. The first PokerStars No Limit Hold’em Championship was held as part of the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure (PCA) 2019. The organizers set themselves the goal of bringing players of all levels to the event. To compete, you could qualify in online tournaments on PokerStars or live tournaments in the PokerStars Live series.
