The Washington State Executive has entered into an agreement, which has yet to be approved by the regional legislature and the US Department of the Interior, with the Sukuamish Indian tribe. The agreement will allow the tribal casino, located on the Port Madison reservation, to accept sports betting. At the same time, geolocation protection must be used in the gambling house so that bets are made only inside this gambling establishment. In addition, betting related to the University of Washington sports team and incentivizing gamblers to bet a certain amount is prohibited. Prior to this, Washington state authorities entered into a similar agreement with another tribe – Tulalip. As My Lucky Story reported, the Seminole tribe received a monopoly on sports betting in the state from the Florida authorities. Earlier it became known that the casino of the Indian tribe Potawatomi granted a privileged position in the state of Indiana. Recall that the gambling house in Beloit (Wisconsin) will be built in 2022. This casino is run by the Ho-Chunk tribe.
