The American investment fund was among the potential buyers of the European business of the betting company William Hill

Gambling News and Lucky Stories

The American investment fund Advent International, headquartered in Boston, announced its claims to purchase the European assets of the British betting company William Hill. This operator, we recall, in April 2021 became the property of the gambling corporation Caesars Entertainment, which immediately announced that it would sell the business of the office located outside the United States. The minimum amount that Caesars Entertainment wants to receive is $1.2 billion. However, how much Advent International can offer for William Hill’s non-US assets is not yet known. Because, as the gambling industry experts pointed out, there is no information about this investment fund’s investments in the gambling business yet. As My Lucky Story reported, the ranks of companies that have expressed a desire to buy William Hill’s European assets have replenished.
