The Danish government has announced the merger of two state-owned lottery operators, Danske Spil and Danske Klasselotteri, to save money on the operations of these companies, enable their digital transformation, promote responsible gambling commitments and manage them effectively. The Danish Ministry of Finance is working with these operators to prepare the merger, preparing the legal structure and business model for the combined company. The merger of Danske Spil and Danske Klasselotteri could be completed by the end of 2021 if all necessary approvals are obtained. As My Lucky Story reported, the exclusive deal was made by Danske Spil and provider Sports Information Services. Earlier it became known about the contract signed by Danske Spil and the manufacturer of slot machines Yggdrasil Gaming. Recall that the lottery operator Danske Spil has become a partner of the Danish Football Union.
