The Dutch authorities launched a war against illegal gambling companies

Gambling News and Lucky Stories

The Dutch authorities, as they previously warned offshore gambling operators, are carrying out punitive operations against companies that are unlicensed in the country and provide online gambling to residents of the Netherlands. The first to be put in their place by the Dutch gambling regulator were operators registered in Curacao and their accomplices. In particular, the Dutch law enforcement officers detained a Dutchman who was charged with helping illegal gambling companies from Curacao. The regulator also fined the operator Raging Rhino (Curaçao license) for 440 thousand euros, which provided online casino services to a Dutch resident through its websites. The web resources used by Raging Rhino have been blocked by ISPs at the request of the Dutch authorities. In addition, law enforcement authorities detained a resident of the Netherlands, suspected of laundering money obtained by criminal means and collaborating with two gambling operators from Curacao who were illegally operating in Holland. The Dutch state gambling regulator has also warned all gambling companies that any connection with illegal activities will be stopped before the opening of the official online gambling market. My Lucky Story wrote that the Dutch online gambling market will be launched on October 1, 2021. 28 gambling operators submitted their applications for work in the Netherlands.
