The Dutch state regulator of gambling has threatened offshore operators with a fine of 50 thousand euros

The Dutch gambling regulator has issued a zero tolerance statement against offshore online gambling operators, as well as warning Dutch sites that promote them to be punished for such activities. All companies identified by the authorities that do not have a Dutch license to conduct online gambling, and persons associated with them, will be fined 50 thousand euros. As My Lucky Story reported, the legal online gambling market in Holland will officially open in October 2021. The country’s authorities have received 28 applications from gambling operators who want to work there. Earlier it became known that the Lithuanian Gambling Control Authority warned illegal online gambling operators about blocking their web resources. Recall that in Ukraine, the authorities reported blocking 250 sites where offshore operators illegally provided gambling.
