The Finnish authorities reported the number of self-excluded players in the country

Finnish authorities have released information about self-excluded from gambling in the country. Applications for voluntary refusal to participate in gambling were submitted by 28.4 thousand people. The vast majority are men. Earlier it became known that the Ministry of Finance of Russia prepared a draft law on the introduction of a self-exclusion procedure for players in the Russian Federation and submitted a document for public discussion. As reported, in Belarus, according to data at the beginning of 2019, about 60,000 gamblers announced that they had been entered into the self-excluded register. Recall that the Ministry of Sports of Kazakhstan proposed to introduce a voluntary renunciation of gambling in the country, and the Macau authorities decided to replace the players’ confidentiality system with a registry of self-excluded players.
