The Ministry of Taxes and Duties of the Republic of Belarus has reported on tax revenues from gambling for 2020. According to the department, 39.6 million Belarusian rubles (1.13 billion Russian rubles) were transferred to the country’s budget from gambling. Also, the Ministry of Taxes and Taxes reported that today 117 legal entities have licenses to conduct gambling business. 6,212 objects are connected to a special computer cash network: 134 gaming tables, 5,975 slot machines and 103 bookmakers’ cash desks. In general, two online establishments, 26 casinos, 195 slot machine halls and 102 bookmakers operated under the jurisdiction of the republic in 2020. As previously reported, Russian gambling operators transferred 1.57 billion rubles in taxes to the country’s budget, and another 2.2 billion received as earmarked contributions from bookmakers. We also remember that in Belarus they announced the launch of a new instant lottery “BELBET”.
