MGM Resorts and its subsidiary BetMGM have teamed up to promote responsible gaming. The largest gambling operator, together with teachers from the Harvard Medical School, initiated training programs to combat gambling addiction for its employees. During the month, they will study the nature of gambling addiction and effective methods of preventing gambling addiction, based on the latest research. MGM Resorts senior vice president Steven Martino said the company will do its best to “ensure users’ safety without taking away their right to have fun.” Previously, scientists from the National University of Ireland identified the main cause of gambling addiction.
