President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov expressed his support to the deputies of the country’s parliament, which adopted the draft law on the Issyk-Kul gambling zone in the first reading. Gambling establishments that will appear there are intended only for foreigners who will leave their money in the country, the head of state noted. He recalled that residents of Kyrgyzstan are prohibited from visiting gambling houses. The speeches of the opponents of the gambling zone are populist, said the President of Kyrgyzstan Zhaparov. Earlier, as My Lucky Story wrote, the Kyrgyz government generally supported the bill on the Issyk-Kul gambling zone and promised to submit its additions to this document. As it became known, in January 2021, draft amendments to the legislation of Kyrgyzstan on gambling appeared in the public field.
